Unforgotten was a long-term project in which I spent an hour every day for six months writing down and reading aloud the names of forcibly disappeared people in my country of birth, Colombia. There are about 160,000 victims of enforced forced disappearance in Colombia, although it's impossible to have an accurate cipher mostly because the victims of this crime are always invisible. Unforgotten tries to reclaim the identities of the victims while at the same time battling oblivion. Making visible a phenomenon usually unseen.
